The condition of Leader of Quality team, which is awarded by the board of the Ministry of Tourism in Cuba and the National union of the sector, was given in third occasion to Royalton Hotel, located in the historical center of Bayamo, capital of the Granma province.
The emblematic installation belonging to Islazul chain, is the only one in the eastern territory with such distinction. It is given to outstanding centers by the level of satisfaction of the clients and the economic efficiency.
Individually, it was also awarded to Antonio Gonzalez Rodriguez, kitchen chef with 12 years of experience.
In the award ceremony that took place in the entity, Victor Lemagne Sanchez, general secretary of the national union of tourism in the country, highlighted the merit of keeping this condition as an evidence that the workers of Royalton are motivated by the will of pushing forward, overcome the difficulties and obtain every day better results.
Besides, he underlined the accomplishments which exhibit generally speaking the Hotel Complex Islazul in Granma, which deserved the acknowledgement of the emulation movement Through the Success Paths of the Cuban Worker´s Central
Jose Ignacio Pineda Fonseca, director of Royalton, declared that to offer new services to national and international tourism, the hotel counts on a team of 26 workers and 33 rooms, restaurant, lobbybar and a terrace-bar for night entertainment activities.
He declared that Germany, Netherlands, United Kingdom, France and Italy are among the main countries with more visitors to the installation which dates back to 1942.
Among the main attractions of Royalton are highlighted its privileged location, quite closed to places and institutions emblematic of Bayamo , like the Revolution Squares and the National Hymn, the historical investigation center and the Museum House of Birth Carlos Manuel de Cespedes.
